My Goals
- Walk 3 miles a day, 5 days a week for 3 months.
- Swim 5 laps a day, 5 days a week for 3 months.
- Drink 64 ounces of water a day every day for 6 months.
- No carbonated beverages for 3 months.
- No fast food for 3 months.
- Cook dinner from scratch every day for 2 weeks.
- Vegetables and fruit with dinner every day for 3 weeks.
- Make a meal entirely from farmers' market 10 times.
- Mostly organic dinner from scratch 3 times a week for 3 weeks.
- No fried food for one month.
- Walk length of Longfellow Creek trail, walking to and from home, 5 times.
- Walk or bike 15 miles of the Burke Gillman trail.
- Walk to Lincoln Park and back home 10 times.
- Lose 50 pounds.
- Log all food eaten for 3 months.
- Eat 101 foods I've never tried before.
- Floss daily for a month.
- Eat vegetarian for a month.
- Jump rope 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week, for a month.
- Ski or snowboard a green Whistler run, or equal elsewhere.
- Write a congratulatory letter and a complaint letter to an elected official.
- Do "parents night out" or similar 3 months in a row.
- Update our family website at least weekly for 3 months.
- No TV for 1 week.
- No internet for 1 week.
- Go on a trip of at least 3 nights somewhere I haven't been before.
- Spice up my sex life for a month.
- Make Andy's fuzzy feet.
- Finish my mom's knitted socks that I started years ago.
- Learn to throw a 6" pot.
- Make a house cleaning schedule and stick to it for 3 months.
- Keep car clean of debris for 3 months.
- No dirty dishes or pans left out overnight for 3 months.
- Trash and recycling bins brought up from the curb by noon for 3 months.
- Complete 10 major tasks in home renovation project.
- Keep bedroom clean of piles of clothes and laundry for one month.
- Don't say the word "no" to Isabella for 3 non-consecutive days.
- Go on 5 dates with Andy that don't involve dinner.
- Bake all family breads for 1 month.
- Make a list of 101 things I love about Andy.
- Make a list of 101 things I love about Isabella.
- Create and mail a postsecret submission.
- Go camping for at least 2 nights.
- Make bed every day for 6 weeks.
- Read 5 books aloud with Andy.
- Read 101 books aloud to Isabella.
- Have 'media free nights' once a week for 6 weeks.
- Do laundry at least every 3rd day for 6 weeks.
- Do daily practice every day for 3 months.
- Read 5 books on spirituality.
- Manifest something positive ten times.
- Take a class.
- Make a list of 101 things that bring me joy.
- Make a trip to Mt. Rainier.
- Watch a sunrise from somewhere beautiful.
- Swim in a natural body of water.
- Paint something (not a wall, but a mural counts).
- Make something (not food or knitted).
- Dip toes in the Pacific.
- Consider and paint a motto for the guest room.
- Say "no" to 5 no-worthy requests.
- Go to a National Park (other than Mt. Raininer).
- Photograph 11 beautiful things a day for 11 days.
- Go on a day trip somewhere I haven't been before.
- Do something scary.
- Spend 48 consecutive hours naked.
- Buy nothing for a week.
- Buy nothing new for a month (except food and gas).
- Have a gigantic yard sale.
- Learn to sew sufficient to make a garment. Make a garment.
- Earn a merit badge (at Andy's discretion)
- Earn $300 a month for 3 months.
- No eating out for 2 weeks.
- Read 5 financial advice books.
- Sell 50 items to consignment stores, or on craigslist or ebay.
- No food deliveries for 6 weeks (not counting our milkman).
- Buy / use no single use product for a week.
- Repurpose yarn from thrift store sweaters into a knitted something.
- Use only reusable bags for 3 months.
- No car for a week.
- Walk Isabella to story time 3 times in one month.
- Make and use homemade cleaners (kitchen and bathroom) for 3 months.
- Develop and implement a Vampire Power Reduction Plan.
- Replace 5 outbound gifts with experiences instead of stuff.
- Replace 5 outbound gifts with homemade items.
- Plant a tree.
- Hang all laundry to dry for one month.
- Knit something for charity.
- Have a party.
- Respond to all (non-forwarded) emails from family and friends for 2 months.
- Call a friend. A week later call another friend. Repeat for a month.
- Send 10 handwritten, snail-mail thank you notes over the course of one year.
- Donate 101 items to a worthy cause.
- Keep a pedicure for 3 months.
- Get a facial.
- Dye hair a wacky color and keep it that way for at least a month.
- Go dancing.
- Primp (shower, teeth, shaved legs, hair, lotion, powder, clean clothes) every day for 2 weeks.
- Watch 25 classic movies I haven't seen.
- Read 5 classic novels I haven't read.
- Compose another list of 101 goals.
